Ho’okena doesn’t have the biggest waves, but it is indeed a beautiful beach. It’s one of those soothing beaches with just enough activity for people watching. I watched a few tourists jump into the ocean at Ka Lae blowhole the other day. It was very fun to watch them psych each other up for jumping into the water.
