I got a little crafty this weekend, and made this banner. There are actually two more flags that have hearts on them, but my arms are two short to hold the entire banner out. I’m rather proud of how it turned out. It looks much cuter in person, as the glitter sparkles in the sun.
I love when the Thelen’s call for a family session. They have such a great energy, and always have fantastic ideas for their session. For this session, Jennifer wanted to get photos for their Christmas cards, and to show how much Mr. Coen has grown. We met at Kahuku Ranch on what turned out to be a gorgeous day. We had fun playing in the grass, and running down into the cinder pit. I can’t wait for another opportunity to photograph this super cute family. I’ll make sure to bring M&Ms for Coen.

I finally got to meet THE Blake Howell, of Kona Real Estate Now. I was excited when Blake contacted me to help create some new portraits for his website. Blake wanted to capture the island feel, and his love for the water in the photos, while also creating a required tight cropped head shot.
I suggested Honl’s for the easy location, beautiful sand, sunset, and variety of backgrounds in that area. We worked quickly to get a variety of shots, and I think we captured some great shots.
